The Meinig School's B.S. in biomedical engineering degree offers a broad background in the fundamentals of biomedical engineering as well as an introduction to the many professional and technical areas of interest to biomedical engineers, preparing students for careers in industry and business or for graduate education in engineering, medicine, and science. Our minor in biomedical engineering is open to all Cornell undergraduates wishing to augment their major with a flexible combination of breadth and depth from the biomedical engineering offerings at Cornell. 

There are many ways to structure your Cornell BME degree! You can tailor our program to meet particular career or research interests and goals through defined paths and careers. Whatever your interests, we invite you to explore and learn more about our curriculum and courses and experiential learning component of the degree, get involved in professional leadership, networking, and social activities through student organizations and extracurricular programs.
