ICBZM 2024 - Day 3

to

Location

Cornell University
Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering
Ithaca, NY

Description

Zwitterionic materials, including ampholytes, ionic liquids, and layer-by-layer materials, have drawn great attention in biomedical and engineering applications in recent years. They have been applied to a broad range of applications, including drug carriers, implants, tissue engineering scaffolds, blood-contacting devices, biosensors, protein/cell preservation, membranes, lubricants, marine coatings, and energy devices. This conference will cover both fundamental and applied aspects, including translational. Experts working on bioinspired materials, biomaterials, naturally occurring materials, and polymeric/peptide materials will provide insights of their research and the latest developments in these fields to broaden the scope of this conference.

Topics

  • Bioinspired and Zwitterionic Materials, Surfaces and Nanoparticles
  • Biomedical applications (e.g., medical devices, implants and cell culture media)
  • Engineering Applications (e.g., marine coatings, membranes, and energy devices)
  • Pharmaceutical applications (e.g., delivery of genes, proteins and small molecules)
