Support BME: Thurston Hall Addition

Support BME with A GIFT THAT LASTS

Private gifts are essential to ensuring the Meinig School's continued excellence, relevance, and impact. Our top initiative this coming year is new space for the BME instructional labs and teaching faculty offices, which will allow for expansion of existing research programs and new faculty hires for continued BME growth.

The new teaching space will be part of a four-story addition to the north side of Thurston Hall in the middle of the Pew Engineering Quad, and will support our BME design program and house the BME instrumentation lab, biomechanics lab, and wet lab suite. BME administration, majority of faculty offices, and research labs will remain in Weill Hall. The project will begin construction in January 2023 and be ready for our first students in time for the Fall 2024 semester.

This facility will have a transformative impact on our future, allowing us to meet the moment and achieve our goals, provide space close to other engineering departments, enabling easy collaboration and cross-pollination of ideas with our colleagues.

Join us in making an impact into better, healthier lives for tomorrow!
