Schaffer lab Ph.D. student recognized for academic and research excellence.
Congratulations to Menansili Mejooli (Ph.D. student, Schaffer Lab) on being selected to receive Cornell’s spring 2019 Africa Fund Fellowship. The award provides full tuition, health insurance, and a stipend.
Mejooli was selected based on academic excellence and the impact that research is expected to have in field of Biomedical Engineering. The review committee was also impressed by Mejooli's contributions to Arusha Technical College and the efforts he has made to build student collaborations between Cornell and ATC, which directly benefit many young scholars in both Tanzania and the USA.
