BME PhD student chaired BGPSA Renaissance Ball Planning Committee
Tiffany St. Bernard is a second year Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering and the Community Service Chair for the Black Graduate and Professional Student Association (BGPSA) at Cornell University. Additionally, Tiffany Chaired the 2014 Renaissance Ball Planning Committee. The Annual Renaissance Ball was established by BGPSA in 2011 as a means to promote diversity within the graduate community. Since its inception, it has grown in popularity and attendance. Every year BGPSA collaborates with various graduate student groups of color within the law, business, veterinary, and graduate school which have not traditionally worked together in the past. Furthermore, the event brings together faculty, staff, and graduate students from various departments across the university. It is now a flagship event within the collaborative graduate population and plans to continue this trend.
