Kyle Kentch awarded best poster at the GE Student Research Summit
Kyle Kentch won best poster award at GE's 3rd Annual Student Research Summit in Niskayuna, NY on August 15, 2014. The GE Student Research Summit is an opportunity for top students in science and engineering to share their research, while being exposed to the projects and professionalism at GE. Kyle's Master of Engineering project poster, "Non-Articulating Functional Replacement of the Temporomandibular Joint," describes the conceptual design for an implant to restore jaw function in patients with severe TMJ disorders.
Kyle completed his M.En.g project under the supevision of Professor Jonathan Black, along with teammates Sunaina Arshad and Cheryl Wu.
