Aparna Ashok selected for GE Student Research Summit
Aparna Ashok ’12 BE, M.Eng.’13 BME, has been selected to present her Master of Engineering project poster at the 2nd annual Student Research Summit at the General Electric (GE) Global Research site in Niskayuna, NY on Friday, August 9th, 2013. The Student Research Summit is a one-day event, where GE will be hosting top graduate students in science and engineering to provide them with the opportunity to network with other academic talent and accomplished professionals in an industrial research setting. This event will feature talks from several GE technology experts as well as laboratory tours and networking opportunities.
Aparna completed her M.Eng. project titled "Environmentally Powered Blood Pressure Monitor,” under the supervision of Jack M. Thompson, Jr., P.E. and lecturer in the department of Biomedical Engineering.
