The goal of each topical group will be to define the important areas of intercampus overlap within the discipline and identify intercampus groups and collaborations that will lead to novel research and extramural funding applications. The fourth working group will focus on trainees, and discuss educational opportunities and challenges involved in intercampus training to build the next generation of biomedical engineers and physicians.
