Everyone is invited to a special BME Symposium
The public is invited to attend a faculty symposium titled, "Understanding and Treating Disease: Inspirations from Womb to Tomb," on Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 2:15 to 4 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Room in Friends Hall.
The symposium, hosted by the Nancy E. and Peter C. Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering, will feature panel discussions with notable biomedical faculty and researchers from across campus who will discuss the following topics:
- Revelations from Development and Genetics
- Physical Science of Cancer
- Aging and the End of Homeostasis
The event will also offer a historical perspective of BME at Cornell, and is part of a larger celebration to thank the Meinig family for their continued support of Cornell and the College of Engineering.
