Michael Mitchell accepted into Edward A. Bouchet Graduate Honor Society
Michael Mitchell, a PhD student in the King Lab, was recently accepted into the Cornell University chapter of the Edward A. Bouchet Graduate Honor Society. Michael will join two other graduate students who will become members of the 2013 class of Bouchet Fellows.
"The Bouchet Society at Cornell seeks to develop a network of preeminent scholars who exemplify academic and personal excellence, foster environments of support and serve as examples of scholarship, leadership, character, service and advocacy for students and postdocs who have been traditionally underrepresented in the academy. In the spirit of Bouchet’s commitment to these pursuits both within and without the academic realm, inductees into the honor society bearing his name also exhibit these qualities." -Cornell University Graduate School
