Yi Wang, Professor, Radiology, Weill Medical College & Biomedical Engineering Department, has been elected a Fellow in the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) in Washington, D.C. He was nominated and elected by The College of Fellows for outstanding achievements in medical and biological engineering; specifically, significant contributions to the development of high-resolution cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging.
The formal induction ceremony was held on March 1, 2007 in Washington, D.C. at the annual conference which brings together the outstanding medical and biological engineers in academia, government and industry to showcase new technologies and provide a forum for discussing public policy issues in the field.
