Professor Jonathan Butcher to Receive BMES Award
Jonathan Butcher has been selected to receive the BMES 2009 Rita Schaffer Young Investigator Award. The award includes a cash prize and travel expenses. Jonathan will give the special Rita Schaffer Memorial Lecture on October 10, 2009, at the BMES national meeting. He was nominated based on the excellence of his research and particularly for the unique way in which he has combined developmental biology with engineering for applications in regenerative medicine.
