Professor Warren Zipfel accepts faculty position
More good news! Professor Warren Zipfel has accepted our offer and will begin July 1, 2005 as an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering. Warren brings a strong expertise in cellular and molecular imaging to BME. Additionally, he has established strong collaborations with faculty in Ithaca, at Weill Cornell Medical College, and elsewhere.
We expect Cornell BME to become the preeminent BME department in the country with respect to imaging at the cellular and molecular level. Warren's addition to the BME faculty is a big step to achieve that goal.
