PhD Students Receive National Science Foundation Awards
Casey Kraning, Siddarth Pathi, Erica Pratt and Brooke Smith, PhD candidates in the Department of Biomedical Engineering,have been awarded National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships.
The National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP) helps ensure the vitality of
the human resource base of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in the United States and reinforces its
diversity. The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in the U.S. and abroad.
