John Nguyen wins OSA Presentation Award
John Nguyen, a graduate student in Prof. Christopher Schaffer's lab, won an Outstanding Student Presentation Award at the Optical Society of America’s Annual Meeting. This conference, called the Frontiers in Optics meeting, was held in Rochester in October, 2008. John talked about his work studying the blood flow changes causes by occlusions in small venules in the brain and the implications of such occlusions for neurological disease. Congratulations to John!
