M.Eng. Degree Requirements

The M.Eng. is a non-thesis course work degree preparing students for professional practice. All M.Eng. students must complete 30 credits and a design project. Requirements can be completed in two semesters.

In addition to these requirements BME students in M.Eng. must demonstrate knowledge of molecular and cellular biomedical engineering and biomedical engineering analysis of physiological systems. This requirement is met through completion of BMEP 301, 302, 401, and 402 or successful completion of a diagnostic exam. M.Eng. students not having completed these courses as undergraduates or not having successfully completed the diagnostic exam cannot count BMEP 301 – 302 – 401 – 402 toward the M.Eng. credit requirements.
